  • Ayurvedic Consultations

    During the initial consultation, we get clear on your constitution - your unique balance of the doshas. I take a health history to assess your patterns, routines, and the root cause of your challenges. We’ll create a custom plan together, one that fits your individual needs. I’ll help you discover how to nourish yourself based on your unique needs to enjoy greater well being and lifelong health. This includes ayurvedic nutrition, lifestyle routines, and herbal recommendations. I’ll walk with you on this journey, providing support and accountability along the way.

  • Yoga Classes

    1:1 Personalized sessions designed for your needs. We will work through healing modalities of asana, meditation, mudras and breathwork. Public Yoga classes: Weekly classes at Hot Asana Yoga Studio in Colorado Springs, designed to be inclusive and welcoming to all levels (classes are heated) Variations and options based on your needs are always offered.

Meet Julie

Julie is a vinyasa yoga and meditation teacher and an Ayurvedic Health Counselor. 

She has dedicated herself to the practice, study, and sharing of yoga since her first experience with yoga over 12 years ago. She was enamored with the practice after her first class, the rhythmic movement felt soothing and helped her feel embodied with strength.  She practiced and studied yoga alongside becoming a Physical Therapy Assistant. She began to realize that the focus, stress relief, and connection she was experiencing would be wonderful for her clients.  Julie dove deeper into yoga philosophy, receiving 300 hours of Yoga Therapy training, learning yogic healing practices for anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, cancer and chronic pain.

She began learning more about Ayurveda, which helped her heal from burnout, and she knew that she wanted to share this healing practice along with yoga.  Julie aims to create a welcoming and inclusive feeling in her yoga classes, and to support you in finding vitality and balance through Ayurveda. She feels it is an honor, and her purpose, to share what she has learned about our amazing ability to heal and thrive through yoga and Ayurveda.

    Learn how to deliver personal attention to students in a group setting, from prop assistance, to light touch, to leveraging pressure. Gain a better understanding of how different bodies move and respond to poses, to assess and offer the best support for each student, plus practice assisting in real time. Register HERE.
